Young Rider Programs

At Smiling Faces Equestrian, we believe it’s never too early to discover the joy of horses and farm life! Our toddler activities and young rider programs are designed especially for little animal lovers, offering fun, hands-on experiences that encourage children to learn, explore, and build confidence around horses and farm animals. From meeting our gentle ponies and brushing a horse to enjoying age-appropriate riding experiences and farm adventures, there’s something for every young horse lover to enjoy. We offer activities for a variety of ages and family experiences, so explore our programs below to find the perfect experience for your little one!

Tiny Tots Programs (Ages 2–6)

Our Tiny Tots experiences are designed to introduce young children to horses through hands-on activities, learning, and play.

This 1-hour experience allows children to interact with our gentle ponies while learning basic horsemanship skills in a fun, age-appropriate setting.

Ground Program

Important Safety & Supervision Requirements

Each Tiny Tot must be accompanied by one adult throughout the entire program.
A maximum of two adults per family may attend.
All children must wear a properly fitted helmet at all times while participating in the program. Helmets can be provided if needed.
Everyone on the property, including adults and spectators, must wear closed-toe shoes for safety around the horses and farm animals.

Pony Party (Ages 3-7)

5 to 30 riders - ages 3 to 7 - max weight 100lbs

Introduce your little ones to horses with a 5 minute pony ride per guest.

1 Hour with 1 Pony (dressed as a Unicorn) - $230 (up to 10 rides)

Extra Pony - $175 per hour

Add-ons are also available to enhance the experience.
Paint The Pony/Horses - $75 per horse (max 5 children)
Costume/Dress A Pony/Horse - $50 per horse (max 5 children)
Groom The Pony/Horses - $50 per horse (max 5 children)
Pony Obstacle Course - $50 per pony (max 5 children)
Treat The Ponies/Horses - $50 for 20 minutes
Goat Games - $75 for 30 minutes
Party Room - $75 per 1 hour

Family Market (All Ages)

Our Family Markets bring together local vendors, families, and animal lovers for a fun-filled day on the farm. Enjoy a vibrant community atmosphere while exploring unique local goods, meeting our farm animals, and making memories with the whole family.
