Starting riding at 4 years old Shauna has always had a passion for horses. Growing up she
knew horses would be a huge part of her life. At age 9 she met her first coach and started
getting more serious with horses, going to competitions, trying new disciplines, and of course
learning lots of new things. At age 16 Shauna had been to over 100 shows all over Ontario from
Fairs to the A Circuit, restarted 3 horses that needed retraining, and found her passion for
Jumping. After graduating College with honors Shauna started coaching at a few farms for a
while but ended up taking a step back from horses and helping out at her Fathers Bouncy Castle
business working with kids and running events becoming COO. When COVID-19 hit, she decided
to get back involved with horses starting Smiling Faces in 2020 with her first horse Mischief.
